Use Heatmaps on Your Website

What is a heatmap?

A web analytics heatmap overlays a map of clicks onto your website.  Heatmaps provide a valuable insight into how your users interact with your website.

Why Should I Use Heatmaps?

General analytics will give you an idea of how many people view your website, but heatmaps will tell you how effective a design, ad placement or signup form really is.    With a heatmap you can see exactly where people are clicking on your website.

Why a Heatmap

A heatmap will show you what areas of your site are “hot” and which are “cold”.  This will give you a very clear indication of what needs to be changed on your site.

What Should I use Heatmaps to Test

You can test new designs, ad placments, link structures, navigation menus and more.
